The Instagram Profile Jump Trend is the newest viral reel on Instagram. In this video, you climb out of your own profile picture, jump down onto your profile page, wipe away your old followers count with a cloth and write a new number. Then you turn to the camera and celebrate with a double thumbs-up. In this post you get both free prompts, the full step-by-step process with ChatGPT and Google Flow, and a bonus Ayudha Pooja version of the same trend.

First, watch the result below. This whole video was made with just a profile screenshot, one photo and two prompts.
Why the Instagram Profile Jump Trend Is Going Viral
Creators are using this trend to celebrate a followers milestone in a fun way. Because the video shows your real profile, your audience instantly connects with it. The jump out of the profile picture is surprising, so people watch it till the end and share it.
So, if you are close to a milestone like 10K, 20K or 100K, this is the perfect reel to post. You can also show any number you want, which makes it great for a goal or a thank-you video.
How the Instagram Profile Jump Trend Works
The process has only two parts. First, ChatGPT makes the last frame of your video. Then, Google Flow animates everything between your screenshot and that last frame.
- Start frame: your normal Instagram profile screenshot.
- End frame: an image made in ChatGPT where you stand in front of your profile with the new followers number.
- Video: Google Flow (Frames to Video) joins both frames with the full jump, wipe and write action.
Trend 1: Instagram Profile Jump Followers Video
Before You Start: Keep These 4 Things Ready
- Profile screenshot in 9:16: take a screenshot of your Instagram profile and place it on a 9:16 canvas in CapCut or Canva with black side bars. Do not crop the top or the bottom.
- Clear selfie: a front-facing photo where your face is fully visible and not blurry.
- Your new number: change only the line NEW FOLLOWERS NUMBER = 20K in both prompts. Use the same number in both.
- Google Flow mode: choose Frames, not Ingredients.
Step 1: Create the End Frame in ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT and upload your 9:16 profile screenshot and your selfie.
- Copy the prompt below and change the followers number to the number you want.
- Paste it, generate the image, and download it.
- Next, check the image. Your bio, posts and following must look exactly like your screenshot. If something changed, ask ChatGPT to keep everything exactly as image 1 and only change the followers number.
NEW FOLLOWERS NUMBER = 20K
(Change only this number.)
Create ONE vertical 9:16 image. Image 1 is already 9:16 — keep its exact size and framing.
BACKGROUND: Image 1 exactly as it is, full-screen, flat, same size and same position — every word, number, icon, profile picture, bio line, highlight, button and post thumbnail stays identical. Do not redraw, retype or move anything. NEVER CROP: the whole screenshot must be visible from the very top (status bar) to the very bottom (bottom navigation bar), left to right, nothing cut off. Do not zoom, do not crop, do not put it in a phone frame. If the shape does not fit, shrink the whole screenshot to fit and fill the empty sides with the same dark color as the app background.
ONLY ONE CHANGE on the screenshot: the followers number (the middle number at the top, directly above the word “followers”) is replaced with the NEW FOLLOWERS NUMBER written above, in the same white font, same size and same position. The posts number and the following number stay exactly as in Image 1.
PERSON: the person from Image 2 — exact same face, skin tone, hairstyle, beard and clothes as Image 2, photoreal like a real photo, no beautification. If legs are not visible in Image 2: plain dark trousers and white sneakers.
FULL BODY: he stands in front of the screenshot facing the camera, FULL BODY visible from the top of his head down to his shoes — feet and shoes fully inside the image, standing on the bottom part of the screen. Centered. The top of his head is BELOW the posts / followers / following row, so that row (and the new followers number) stays fully visible. Big happy smile, both hands in a double thumbs-up at chest height. Soft warm light from the front-left, natural soft shadow.
NO ADDED TEXT: do not add any new text, number, sticker, caption or graphic anywhere. The only change on the screenshot is the followers number.
No extra people, no logos, no watermark.
Step 2: Make the Video in Google Flow (Frames to Video)
- Open Google Flow and choose Frames instead of Ingredients.
- Upload your 9:16 profile screenshot as the Start Frame.
- Upload the ChatGPT image as the End Frame.
- Copy the prompt below, write the same followers number, paste it and click Generate.
(Change only this one number. The starting followers number is taken from your screenshot automatically.)
THE START FRAME IS FINAL: the uploaded screenshot is the exact first frame and the exact background for the whole video. Animate ONLY the person and the followers number. Every other pixel of the screenshot — status bar, username, name, profile picture area, posts number, following number, bio, links, highlights, buttons, tabs, every post thumbnail and the bottom bar — stays exactly as in the start frame for all 10 seconds. Do not redraw, retype, replace, add or remove anything. No zoom-out, no crop — the whole screenshot from the status bar at the top to the navigation bar at the bottom stays fully visible. No phone frame, no studio, no floor.
DURATION: 10 seconds. One continuous shot, no cuts.
ASPECT RATIO: 9:16 vertical.
BACKGROUND (MOST IMPORTANT):
The start frame fills the whole frame as a flat, full-screen, perfectly sharp phone screenshot, exactly as uploaded — same username, name, bio, buttons, tabs and post grid, same dark theme, same layout, same text. The screenshot never moves, bends, scrolls or zooms. Only the followers number changes, exactly as described below. No other text on the screenshot changes.
THE PERSON:
The person is exactly the person shown in the END FRAME — same face, skin tone, hairstyle, beard and clothes in every moment of the video, from the tiny version climbing out of the profile picture to the final close-up. Photoreal, natural skin texture, no beautification. He is a real 3D human standing in front of the flat screenshot, lit by soft warm light from the front-left, with a soft shadow on the screenshot.
ACTION AND TIMING:
0.00–0.75s: Still screenshot exactly as the start frame, including its own profile picture (do not replace it). The followers number is exactly the one shown in the start frame.
0.75–1.75s: The person comes alive inside the round profile picture, leans forward and climbs OUT of the circle — head and shoulders first, then one leg, then the other — at a tiny size (about as tall as the profile circle). The profile circle is now EMPTY, showing only its plain background color, and stays empty for the rest of the video.
1.75–2.50s: He jumps down from the profile circle toward the viewer; while falling he grows to full size and lands lightly on both feet near the bottom-center of the screen, BACK to the camera, knees bending on landing. Full body: head at the bio line, feet near the bottom of the screen.
2.50–3.25s: He walks two steps up and to the right, back to the camera, and stops directly under the FOLLOWERS NUMBER — the middle of the three numbers at the top (posts | followers | following), the one directly above the word “followers”.
3.25–3.75s: He takes a small white cloth out of his pocket with his right hand.
3.75–5.25s: He reaches up and presses the cloth directly ON the followers number (the middle number, directly above the word “followers”) and wipes it with fast small circular strokes. With every stroke the digits fade more, and by 5.25s the old number is COMPLETELY GONE — the spot above the word “followers” is plain empty background. The word “followers” itself, the posts number and the following number are not touched and stay exactly as they were. The empty spot stays empty until he starts writing.
5.25–5.75s: He tucks the cloth back in his pocket and picks up a small white marker.
5.75–7.00s: Standing on tiptoes, he puts the marker tip on that SAME empty spot — exactly where the old number was, directly above the word “followers”, between the posts number and the following number — and writes the NEW FOLLOWERS NUMBER there. Each character appears only under the marker tip at the moment he draws it, one by one, left to right, in the same white font and size as the posts and following numbers. It is never written anywhere else on the screen. When he finishes, it reads exactly the NEW FOLLOWERS NUMBER — no other number.
7.00–7.75s: He turns around to face the camera with an excited, surprised look and takes a step toward the camera, ending in the same FULL-BODY position as in the END FRAME (head to shoes visible). The camera and the screenshot do not move or zoom.
7.75–8.50s: He throws both arms open wide, big happy open-mouth smile, full body visible.
8.50–9.25s: He places his right hand on his chest and says to the camera, with natural lip-sync, warm and happy: “Thank you so much, guys!”
9.25–10.00s: He smiles widely and holds up BOTH hands in a double THUMBS-UP toward the camera at chest height, ending exactly on the END FRAME.
STYLE:
Photoreal person, crisp and clean, like a viral creator milestone reel. The screenshot stays perfectly readable behind him at all times.
AUDIO:
Light upbeat background music, a soft cloth-rub sound during the wiping and a small marker squeak while writing. The only speech is the one line “Thank you so much, guys!” at 8.50–9.25s.
STRICT RULES:
– The old followers number must be fully erased, and the new number must be written in exactly the same spot (directly above the word “followers”), nowhere else.
– Do not change any text or number on the screenshot except the followers number. Posts and following stay exactly as in the start frame.
– The followers number is never invented: first exactly as in the start frame, then exactly the NEW FOLLOWERS NUMBER.
– No added text of any kind — no yellow text, no stickers, no captions. The only change on the screen is the followers number.
– The person is shown FULL BODY (head to shoes) at all times after landing.
– The profile circle stays empty after he climbs out.
– Do not change the person’s face, clothes or hairstyle.
– No extra people. No logos or watermarks.
– No camera shake, no zoom; the camera never moves. The video starts exactly on the START FRAME and ends exactly on the END FRAME.
FINAL RESULT:
A 10-second 9:16 reel: the person climbs out of their own Instagram profile picture, jumps down onto the profile page, wipes away the old followers number with a cloth, writes the new number, turns to the camera, says “Thank you so much, guys!” and ends with a double thumbs-up.
Trend 2: Ayudha Pooja Instagram Profile Trend
The same Instagram Profile Jump Trend also has a festival version. Here, the person decorates the profile with marigold garlands, decorates the floor, picks up a white pumpkin with burning camphor and performs aarti in front of the profile. The process is the same, only the prompts are different.
Before You Paste These Prompts, Check These 3 Things
- Profile screenshot in 9:16: the same screenshot with black side bars, nothing cropped.
- Clear selfie: a front-facing photo with your face fully visible.
- Google Flow mode: Frames — screenshot as Start Frame, the ChatGPT pooja image as End Frame.
Step 1: Create the Ayudha Pooja Image in ChatGPT
First, upload your profile screenshot and your photo in ChatGPT. Then paste this image prompt, generate the image and download it.

Step 2: Make the Ayudha Pooja Video in Google Flow
- Open Google Flow and choose Frames.
- Upload your profile screenshot as the Start Frame.
- Upload the ChatGPT pooja image as the End Frame.
- Paste the video prompt below and click Generate.
SCENE 2 — AYUDHA POOJA DECORATION AND AARTI
STEP 1 — DECORATE THE PROFILE: The miniature man picks up fresh orange and yellow marigold garlands mixed with white jasmine flowers. He carefully hangs the garlands across the TOP and SIDES of the large Instagram profile in the background. He uses both hands to arrange the flowers neatly around the profile frame, making it look like a beautifully decorated Ayudha Pooja shrine. He does NOT put any garland around his own neck.
STEP 2 — DECORATE THE FLOOR: He walks to the bottom of the Instagram profile and decorates the floor with colorful flower garlands and loose flower petals. He carefully arranges the flowers around the base of the profile and places traditional glowing brass oil lamps on both sides. All decorations are placed through realistic physical movements.
STEP 3 — PICK UP THE WHITE PUMPKIN: After finishing the decorations, he picks up a white pumpkin with both hands. A tiny piece of burning camphor rests on top, producing a natural golden flame and delicate smoke. He holds the pumpkin securely at chest height and faces the decorated Instagram profile.
STEP 4 — PERFORM AARTI: He respectfully performs aarti in front of the fully decorated Instagram profile, moving the pumpkin in gentle, controlled circular motions. The camphor flame flickers naturally, and thin smoke rises softly. His expression is calm and devotional.
CAMERA: Continue from the previous video’s exact ending position. Use one continuous, smooth cinematic take with gentle, stabilized camera movement. Keep the man and the Instagram profile visible. No sudden zooms, shaking, abrupt reframing, or cuts.
REALISM: Maintain the original face, hairstyle, brown shirt, beige cargo pants, white sneakers, and natural body build. Realistic hands, natural walking, believable flower placement, accurate shadows, realistic fire and smoke, and consistent lighting.
STRICT RULES: The man decorates ONLY the Instagram profile and the floor with flower garlands. He NEVER wears a garland himself. He does not put flowers around his own neck. The white pumpkin is used only for performing aarti in front of the decorated profile. Do not change the Instagram interface or character identity. No teleportation, no sudden appearance of objects, no duplicated limbs, no artificial overlays, and no motion graphics.
FINAL FRAME: The Instagram profile is richly decorated with flower garlands, the floor is covered with colorful flowers, brass lamps glow warmly, and the man performs aarti with the white pumpkin and burning camphor in front of the completed Ayudha Pooja setup.
Tips for a Better Result
- Always use the 9:16 screenshot with side bars. A normal phone screenshot gets cut at the bottom.
- Use a sharp, well-lit selfie. A blurry photo gives a different face.
- Keep the followers number the same in the ChatGPT prompt and the Flow prompt.
- Generate 2 or 3 times in Flow and keep the best one.
- Finally, add a trending song in CapCut or VN before posting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Instagram Profile Jump Trend free to make?
Yes. You only need ChatGPT for the image and Google Flow for the video. Both have free usage, so you can make this trend without paying.
Why do I need ChatGPT for the end frame?
Google Flow keeps your real screenshot only when it is used as a frame. The ChatGPT image gives Flow your real face and the new number for the last frame, so the result looks exactly like you.
Can I show any followers number?
Yes. Change only the NEW FOLLOWERS NUMBER line in both prompts. The old number is taken from your screenshot automatically.
Why does my screenshot get cropped?
A phone screenshot is taller than 9:16. So, place it on a 9:16 canvas with black side bars before you upload it.
That is all you need for the Instagram Profile Jump Trend. Also try our Bike Armour Transformation prompt and the Instagram New Trend fan-cam prompt for more viral reels.
